| Nutrients |
| |
|
Hy-Gen Grow and Hy-Gen Bloom formulas have been specially formulated for the growth and flowering stages. Hy-Gen nutrients have been formulated by a chemist and manufactured to strict specifications, using carefully selected Australian and international high quality solution grade macro elements and chelated trace elements. Hy-Gen two part hydroponic nutrients have been carefully formulated and balanced using advanced ion chemistry and therefore ensuring maximum solubility. Hy-Gen single part nutrients have been formulated using a unique balanced density science to ensure an even consistency and high solubility when added to water.
Hy-Gen nutrients are compatible with all hydroponic systems and applications. Low concentrations can also be used for foliar feeding, since this is a rapid pathway for nutrient uptake. It provides a means by which nutrient deficiencies can be corrected quickly. Hy-Gen Grow is also compatible with cloning agents and therefore ideal for cuttings and seedlings.

| BudLink |
| |
| -> Increases Weight and Bulk |
| -> Helps Nutrient Uptake |
| -> Strengthens Plants |
| -> Improves Disease Resistance |
| -> Improves Cell Integrity |
Previously, little was known about the effects of silicon in hydroponics due to minimal research. Hydroponic Generations investigated the benefits of adding soluble silica to nutrient solutions with outstanding results. After more than two years of trials combined with international findings, the ultimate product has finally arrived, BudLink.
BudLink gives your plants the soluble silica which is normally present in normal soil culture which, up until now, has been missing from hydroponic solutions. BudLink is the missing link in hydroponics. BudLink is not a hormone but a plant builder. It improves plant strength and ability to fight against bacteria and insects. When available in a constant supply, the active ingredients are imbedded into the plant cell walls and improve cell integrity.
BudLink assists the even uptake of nutrients and helps prevent toxic build-up of nutrients in tissue. It also reduces water loss through transpiration. It tends to produce plants with thicker and greener foliage. When used as a foliar spray it is easily absorbed by the leaves and forms a physical barrier against airborne bacteria and harsh light levels.

| pH
Testing & Control |
| |
|
In hydroponics "pH" is an extremely important
factor. When it is poorly monitored or controlled, plants
can become sick or die. It is therefore recommended
that pH is tested daily. Hy-Gen pH Up
and Hy-Gen pH Down provide the grower
with an added control in maintaining optimum pH levels
and hence maximizing nutrient availability and plant
productivity. A too high or too low pH can complicate
the absorption of important nutrients such as iron,
calcium, magnesium, etc.
Generally the pH of the hydroponic solution should be 6.3. It is acceptable, however, to maintain the pH in the range of 6.0 to 6.5. For rockwool a lower pH of 5.8 to 6.0 is recommended. This allows for optimum nutrient solubility and availability.
Hydroponic Generations manufacture two kits which assist the grower in determining the pH of their working solution. The Hy-Gen pH Test Kit includes a test tube, indicator solution and a colour chart for pH determination to the nearest half of a pH unit.
Also available is the Hy-Gen Complete pH Kit. This contains a test tube, indicator solution and a colour calibrated colour chart as well as pH Up and pH Down making it the complete pH Control Kit for hydroponics.

| Calibration
Solutions |
| |
|
Hydroponic Generations provides
a number of calibration solutions suitable for the calibration
of electronic pH and conductivity measuring instruments.
These solutions ensure the instruments are working correctly.
These include Hy-Gen Buffer 7, Hy-Gen
Buffer 4 & Hy-Gen Conductivity.
These are a must for the maintenance of nutrient solutions
at an optimum working level. It is strongly recommended
that conductivity be used since ppm does not accurately
represent the true ionic content of the nutrient solution.
Re-calibrate meters weekly to guarantee accurate nutrient
measurements. Using both Buffer 4 and
Buffer 7 insures accurate calibration
in this range (pH 4 to pH 7). Hy-Gen Conductivity
can be used to calibrate EC and CF.

| Electrode
Storage |
| |
It is extremely important to care for and store pH electrodes correctly when not in use. Hy-Gen Electrode Storage solution provides growers with a means by which they can prolong the life of their pH probes. Too often, electrodes lose the ability to retain calibration because they were stored in distilled water or allowed to dry out. When pH electrodes are used regularly they should be rinsed with distilled water and then kept in Hy-Gen Electrode storage solution. Ideally the pH glass sensing bulb should always be kept in the solution to maintain maximum response from the electrode. |
 |
| Sterilization |
| |
Hydroponic growing is commonly plagued by bacterial infections. Sometimes this is evident from the seedling or cloning stage due to poor hygiene. Pathogens also attack mature plant root zones and inhibit plant nutrient uptake and hence reduce plant vigour and fruit production. Hy-Gen Peroxide can minimize these problems when used to clean and prepare cloning tools. As well as minimizing plant pathogens in most hydroponic systems, Hy-Gen Peroxide provides an additional source of oxygen. Hy-Gen Peroxide is compatible with all hydroponic mediums. |
| Soil
Grown Plants |
| |
Hy-Gen Grow and Hy-Gen Bloom provide an excellent source of nutrition for indoor and outdoor plants grown in soil. A weekly application with regular watering assists in encouraging new growth and promoting healthier and thicker leaves and stems as well as larger fruit and buds. |
| Oz-Cann
Bloom A & Grow A & B |
| |
Oz-Cann Bloom A & Grow B are based on popular Dutch formulas. It has been manufactured using carefully selected, high grade, soluble components to give you the very best results.
Manufactured in Western Australia by an Australian company - proof that here in OZ you CANN get excellent results.

| Maximbud |
| |
|
Maximbud has been specially formulated for the budding and fruiting stage. Formulated with higher phosphorus and potassium levels and extra chelated trace elements to boost bud size and fruit yield.
Maximbud has no artificial colouring, which may lead to smaller bud and fruit size. Rapid fruit formation allows for shorter budding periods and hence shorter turn around times.
|
| Maximgrow |
| |
|
Maximgrow is a special balance
of soluble macro nutrients and fully chelated trace
elements, formulated to provide and ideal food source
for clones and seedlings.
Maximgrow has no artificial colouring, which may lead to slowed growth. Rapid growth allows for a shorter growth period, allowing plants to enter the budding stage earlier and hence shorten turn around times. Maximbud is recommended.

| Cornucopian
Grow & Bloom |
| |
Cornucopian Grow & Bloom is suitable for recycling, run to waste and flood and drain systems. Hobbyists and commercial growers should establish optimum dosage levels and dilute accordingly. |
 |
| Top
Up PK |
| |
PK Top Up is a formulation designed to replenish phosphorous and potassium supply in your nutrient solution during the blooming stage. Research has shown that during the flowering and budding stage high levels of phosphorous and potassium are extracted from the nutrient solution by the plants in just a few days.
Adding PK Top Up to your nutrient tank during budding will ensure that you have a steady supply of phosphorous and potassium during this critical time.
PK Top Up has also been formulated to also include chelated minor trace elements important for plant metabolism. It can also be used in the final week before harvest. It can be used to force the loss of excess leaf if so required.
PK Top Up is by no means a substitute for regular dumping and flushing away of plant waste build up.
